Privacy Policy

The short version

TrainThinking is a static website. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, emails, or any personal information to use the tools. Your test answers are processed entirely in your own browser and are never sent to us.

Test data

When you take the critical thinking test, all scoring happens locally on your device. The only thing stored is your best score percentage, saved in your browser's localStorage so you can see your progress. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. We never receive this value.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It records aggregate page-view statistics without fingerprinting visitors or storing personal data.

Alongside it we run Umami, an open-source analytics tool, on our own server at analytics.balmac.ch. It is cookieless too: it counts page views and referrers in aggregate, stores no cookies and no identifiers that single you out, and the data stays on infrastructure we control rather than being passed to a third-party advertising company.

Because both tools work without cookies and without profiling, this site shows no consent banner. Should a service that requires consent ever be added, it will be asked for first.

Advertising

This site does not currently display advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated to disclose the ad network and your choices regarding personalised ads.
